Invasive Plants in Rittenhouse Town

On our tour of the Rittenhouse Town on Thursday, April 8, 2010, I managed to take some photos of the invasive plants. In the first two photos, you can see that vines have taken over the native trees in the park. Then in the third photo, you can see small little yellow flowers growing with some grass.

When I first saw them, I thought: "Wow. These small yellow flowers are so cute." Cute, yes...invasive and evil to the native plants, Double Yes

And like David Bower (FPC Volunteer Coordinator) said:
"Once these invasive plants take over,
it won't let other plants grow."
