Possible Idea for Project

It seems that most Drexel students are not aware of how close, by at least my standards, attractions in Fairmount Park are to campus. I was thinking a possible project could be creating a map of some attractions in Fairmount Park, then laying out bike friendly routes to those attractions. Furthermore, if I did this project, I would also ride each route and record the distance and time it took to travel there. I think most people under estimate the distance that can be traveled on a bike in urban environments. I would suspect that most of Fairmount Park could be reached within a leisurely15-30 minute bike ride. If it became apparent to more students the proximity of Fairmount Park, maybe more of them would take time to stroll through the park.
