Sakura Sunday Festival at Fairmount Park

Hi everyone!

There is a Sakura Viewing Festival at Fairmount Park today (April 11, 2010). The location is the Horticulture Center, Montgomery Drive & Belmount Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19131. Click here for more directions.

It starts at 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There is a $5 minimum donation, and free for children under the age of 14.

There will be a lot of activities going on. This year, it features:

• Tamagawa Taiko Drum & Dance
• Live performances from Japanese Pop Punk Band UZUHI and others
• Martial arts demos
• Origami, calligraphy & craft stations
• Souvenir & art vendors
• Japan America food court
• Cherry tree planting ceremony
• and much more!
